It started with Ben...

Dog lover Ben Inzelbuch got his first lessons on the importance of dog nutrition while helping establish his hometown’s K9 security unit. Seeing how great food kept these dogs mission-ready taught him how much the right nutrition could change dogs’ lives.

He jumped into pet food production to create the healthiest, most powerful food possible. But wholesome, healthy options were highly unaffordable – and that bothered him. He believed wholesome pet food should be accessible to all loving pet parents, beginning a journey to provide top-quality nutrition at an attainable price.

Throughout the journey, Ben has led the team with one simple mantra: We can do better. We can make better pet food and help pet parents feed their pets the way they want without consuming their budgets or schedules.

Then came Stephanie...

Stephanie Hartnett is a veterinary technician and certified pet nutrition coach. She’s also mom to 8 (not a typo) playful pups and other pets. So yes, she’s highly qualified in her role ensuring Nourra’s products provide the purest, most complete nutrition (and fabulous taste!) any pet could ask for.

Stephanie’s tried endless food brands and types with her own pet fam. At Nourra, she’s created recipes that check every box on her long and exacting “perfect pet food” checklist. She’s thrilled to feed Nourra to her own pups – and passionate about making it accessible to pet parents everywhere.

...And Jay

A passionate (human and dog) family man, Jay Winkler drives business advancement at Nourra while the Winklers’ beloved rescue, Louie, offers insight from his favorite spot on the couch. A careful, discerning feeder thoroughly familiar with the ups and downs of pet feeding, Jay pushes Nourra toward innovation while keeping an eagle eye on safety and quality.

When he’s not helping Nourra grow, Jay is traveling, adventuring outdoors, spending quality time with family, or experimenting in the kitchen.
